 Sparkling City Surrounded by Light

Our sixth day —> visiting Osaka!

Osaka is famous as the kitchen of Japan, is it true that food in Osaka represents and has the best taste image in all of Japan? Let's find out together!

After arriving in Osaka in the afternoon, our day was quite busy with visiting Osaka Castle, Shinsekai, and the Dotonbori area.

After leaving our suitcases in the coin locker, we went straight to Osaka Castle. The road to the castle is quite far, like mostly historical places. On the way we saw a large heron on the riverbank which at the first sight we thought was a statue. After Osaka Castle we tried the 10 yen cake which doesn't cost 10 yen.

We still continued the day by visiting Shinsekai. All the restaurants in this area have a very beautiful decorations. We tried takoyaki and okonomiyaki then also saw Tsutenkaku. After that we continued our journey towards the Dotonbori area, it turned out that this area was very close to the hotel we were staying at. This area is very busy with tourists. The streets are very full, especially in the Glico photo spot area, there are also many tourists traveling around the river on small boats. The atmosphere in this area is very beautiful, especially at night.

Day seven we spent the whole day at Universal Studio Japan! We tried two Harry Potter rides, Minions, Jujutsu Kaisen the real 4D, Snoopy, and ended with Super Nintendo World (especially for this ride we need to book first, we were so lucky to be the last visitors that day). I didn't expect that the experience of playing at a theme park could be as enjoyable as at USJ and DisneySea. On another occasion we thought we need to try another theme park.

After spending time at Universal Studios Japan the previous day, next day we continued our journey to Kyoto! I am very excited to visit this traditional city!

Permanent Exhibition     If we are talking about gallery, of course always there is National Gallery of Indonesia as my top of mind. There are permanent and temporary exhibition, which temporary exhibitions held packed with one full year schedule in here. Due to highly standard selection, it is always said really difficult to conduct the exhibition even to display the artwork. Based on data from the National Gallery of Indonesia website, the building which has a Dutch colonial architecture which was officially opened in 1999 has been used for a Special Dormitory for women. Temporary Exhibition Prince Diponegoro (1785–1855), Sang Ratu Adil or ‘Just King’, was the eldest son of the King of Java, Sultan Hamengku Buwono III (reigned 1812-1814). Since he was young, Diponegoro was close to the lives of commoners and the disciples of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools).
